Open-source products:
The first open-source product I worked on, and where I first had an opportunity to cut my teeth as a Product Manager. Most of my time on this product was spent observing the team, interviewing users, and identifying and responding to issues they had with the tool.
Originating as an intern project in 2018, what started as an experiment of "how might we make the process of allocating people to products better?" evolved into an open-source allocation product that emphasizes the focus on the people who make software products happen.

Going Further was a podcast about FordLabs. It was meant to be an educational interview series with our customers about the actual, experienced benefits of Lean Startup methodologies, Test-Driven Development, Human-Centered Design, and more. It was being produced in collaboration with the Ann Arbor District Library: Downtown branch, and I can't state how much I appreciated their help and expertise. Unfortunately, when COVID sent everyone to work from home in early 2020, the podcast got shelved before episodes could be reviewed for public release. A handful of episodes do exist and were released internally, so maybe it will make a return someday.
Syrinscape is an audio app that allows you to add ambient sound, voices, and soundtracks to RPG sessions.
Back in 2016, I was in the midst of discovering how fun tabletop role-playing games could be. I mean, really, what's better than getting a bunch of friends around a table, playing games, telling stories and jokes, and just having a good time? Doing that while telling a story that you get to be a part of.
Well, the next year I happened to be at PaizoCon - an annual convention for Paizo, the publisher of the Pathfinder Role Playing Game, and Syrinscape had a booth where they were taking open auditions. I thought "that would be neat," and then my friends insisted I apply. I wound up getting the role I auditioned for, Devargo Barvasi - The King of Spiders, and went on to voice a number of characters in the Curse of the Crimson Throne adventure path. You can find a list of all the voices I did for that adventure path here, under the "Credits" tab. Little did I know that would kick off a new hobby - audio and voice work.
